Wright Choice Alpacas is
situated on land owned by my family since the 1930's. We began
raising Alpacas in 2001 with the purchase of three alpacas that
arrived here in the spring. The operation plan was to harvest
and sell alpaca fleeces and some of the alpacas themselves.
My goal is to be there for my customers when they need help and advice,
not just the first month or year but open ended. This goal is
both attainable and ongoing without an end, for as long as I am
in business, I'm here. This brings us to a second point; I'm not
going anywhere anytime soon, I love these alpacas and find their
care very much worth the effort and time. The Alpacas hop me out of bed every morning!
Starting out the employees consisted of me, myself and I, which is still
the way things are done here. I do have some help now and then. The farm
is chuck full of ideas and inspirations, things that work and some that
didn't. Not fancy just practical. Sharing these experiences can be very
